This Week, According To Rani...
Nagnata Exists Somewhere Between Performance And Philosophy...
At its core, Nagnata is less about athleisure and more about recalibrating our relationship with what we wear against the skin. The brand works primarily with natural fibres and responsible production methods, reframing activewear through a female lens that prioritises longevity over trend cycles and synthetic performance culture.
During the event, co-founder Laura May Gibbs reflected on the environmental cost of synthetic fabrics and on the quieter conversation about how these materials interact with the body. Her position was clear: what we wear daily should support, not disrupt, our internal rhythms.
The afternoon unfolded through a slow, grounding yoga and Pilates flow, accompanied by ambient high-frequency beats that lifted the energy of the space. Hosted at Caser Renoir, an architectural masterpiece in the heart of Eumundi, the setting itself aligned perfectly with the brand’s philosophy. Surrounded by towering trees, a still lagoon, and a European-inspired building, the experience became a physical expression of the brand’s ethos: a return to natural fibres, an admiration for the female form, and a slower, more embodied relationship with movement.
I arrived appreciating Nagnata. I left more attuned to my body, my breath, and the ground beneath me. That subtle encouragement lies at its heart.

Surf, Spritz, Repeat
There is something about the Noosa Festival of Surfing that makes the whole town feel lightly sun dazed. Mornings are salty and slow. By late afternoon, everyone drifts off the sand and into town, skin warm, hair still a little damp.
If you are doing the weekend properly, here is the edit.
Where to Shop…
Only one answer.
Alterior Motif.
Surf Festival starts with swim, and Siesta Club is the mood. Fun colours, playful prints, the kind of bikini that exists for sunshine and tanning. Very holiday energy.
When it is time to step into dinner or head to Sandisco, this is where SIR. comes in. The dress you put on and instantly stand a little taller in.
Sol Sister. Natural zinc that actually looks good on the skin. Protection and glow in one. It is the essential you throw in your beach bag and use all weekend.
Swim sorted. Dress sorted. Skin protected.
Exactly how a festival weekend should run.
Where to Eat
It depends on your mood.
Miss Chu
Relaxed. Chill. Fresh. Perfect post beach when you want something light and easy.
Locale
Moody, dark, romantic. Book this when you want candlelight and a slower evening.
Bang Bang
Fun. A little loud. Girls night energy. Cocktails, share plates, the night building momentum.
Where to Dance
Sandisco is where it all comes together.
Mediterranean inspired, open air, DJ playing as the sky shifts from gold to deep blue. The first time I went, I genuinely felt transported to a beach bar in Barcelona.
Do the dawn surfs. Wander Hastings Street. Book the long dinner. But make sure you end up at Sandisco once the music starts.
